“We have put processes in place at every stage of engine development and manufacture to make sure that our engines meet or exceed customer expectations,” said Chuck Rowe, President of Indmar Marine Engines. “We begin by designing for quality from the early stages so that years before a new model rolls off the assembly line, we define the right features to include based on extensive research. Then, we validate that our engine designs and manufacturing processes will deliver not only best-in-class performance, but a best-in-class ownership experience.”
Rowe, further explains, “Our engineers use a suite of high-tech design tools and virtual manufacturing technology to detect and avoid potential issues. We also undertake extensive testing to validate that our customers will experience the highest level of quality in our products. The tireless amount of hours in research, development and product testing ensure that our engines are the benchmark among inboards, and recognition like this is reassurance that we are doing our jobs. It’s especially gratifying to have our customers recognize, through the NMMA, the quality of the inboard marine engines that Team Indmar builds.”
