Continuing in their commitment to excellence, Indmar Marine Engines announced today the successful completion of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 audit for its corporate office and manufacturing facility in Millington, TN. The ISO 9001:2015 certification is another milestone in the companies’ history and another step in assuring customers will continue to receive the very best in quality and service from Indmar Marine Engines.
As a recognized pioneer and leader in the inboard marine industry, Indmar decided that pursuing an ISO 9001:2015 certification was the next step towards their mission of continuous quality improvements. ISO 9001:2015 certification is the worlds most recognized quality management standard. Certification is voluntary and compliance must be verified through an independent agency. Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc., an internationally accredited certification company, reviewed Indmar’s management system and provided certification to the standard as an independent third party. A yearly audit will be conducted to maintain Indmar’s certification status and a more extensive audit will be completed once every three years for certification renewal.
